How to Decorate an Arch Window in a Nursery
- 1). Mount a ladder and extend an adjustable arched curtain rod directly above the arch. Adjust the rod so it extends 2 inches beyond the widest part of the window on each side to assure privacy and protect the baby from direct sunlight. Mark the position with pencil. Use two 2-inch screws to hold the curtain rod brackets on each side. This rod works well, even if there's limited clearance between the top of the arch and the ceiling, because of its curved shape.

Hang medium-weight fabric curtains that suit your nursery's color or theme to decorate the arched windows. For example, hang curtains with stars for a nature-themed nursery, or a yellow curtain for a yellow nursery. Thread the arched rod through the curtains and hold onto the curtains at the center of the rod to keep them from falling off. - 4). Mount the ladder and insert the ends of the rod into the bracket. Adjust the curtains to hang evenly.
