Be Responsible For Your Own Health

It goes with out saying looking after your health is paramount to how much quality or longevity one will have.
Its about the smoker who is going to quit just as soon as this fifty pack of cigarettes is finished, of course they never do.
A classic excuse is, " I was going to give them away but I was under to much stress so I just bought another pack, or I was afraid I would put on too much weight", what a load...
The excuses are many, and sometimes beggars belief how someone could possible believe such nonsense.
I made a call on a young women in her early thirties, in my capacity as a home handyman, I said " how have you been keeping", she replied " not very well I have had a dose of the flu, and now its gone onto my chest".
Well I could certainly tell she had a major lung infection, as she was coughing profusely and she sounded very feeble.
I was really starting to feel sorry for her, when she suddenly pulled out a long king size cigarette and lit it up.
"My God women, you are going to kill yourself smoking that shit" I said, she just laughed and carried on smoking and coughing and to make things worse, (if that was possible) most of the windows where closed as it was a chilly day.
Thankfully my job was outdoors.
I finished the work, and knocked on the door, " well I will be off now, and I will see you next time" I lauded through the slightly ajar door, "oh OK mate thanks for that" she retorted and opened the door, "I was just taking some medication for my Asthma" she half spoke and coughed out, and just as I was leaving she lit up another smoke.
This has just reinforced my beliefs that you have to take control, and be responsible for your own health and well being.
I am unsure why people continue to play Russian roulette with their lives, when it is so easy to balance your life with exercise, healthy diet, and avoid toxic substances.
