Marker Board There are different kinds of marker board.
There are also marker boards that are made out of glass.
These glass boards are very much easy to clean.
You will just need a dry cloth and wipe the non permanent ink away.
A cloth that is soft, clean and dry is the most appropriate kind of wiper to use in cleaning these types of board.
This is because using a clean cloth can wipe more non permanent ink unlike using a dirty cloth that will just spread marker dust all over the board.
It is also the same with using a soft cloth rather than a very dried and hard cloth.
Dry Erase Board Sometimes non permanent ink dry off and the dry erase board is hard to clean because of that.
This dried off ink leaves a very tough mark that is very difficult to wipe with just a simple cloth.
One way to clean tough marks on dry erase boards is by soaking a clean cloth on warm water and wiping it on the marks.
But before that, you should always wipe marker dust out first so that it will not make a mess.
If this does not work, you can also try using a ninety percent Isopropyl rubbing alcohol.
It goes the same with the previous method, just put the rubbing alcohol on the clean cloth and then wipe off the marks away.
White Board Most of the time, warm water and rubbing alcohol work in cleaning tough marks on a white board.
But if there are cases where permanent ink has been used and it has dried off, a very special and proper method is used.
There are special solutions made especially to take out permanent marks on white boards.
You will just put the solution on a towel and wipe it on the board and as you wipe the marks of, it is easily erases from the surface.
There is also an old trick where you use a marker to erase the mark.
The darker the marker you will use as an eraser the better the result but this only apply to mild marks.

This means that maintenance is a must and cleaning the school bulletin boards is also important as well.
These types of boards are decorated by taping the decorations on it.
There are times that the tape used leaves a sticky mark which ruins the surface of the board.
In order to remove the sticky mark, you will need to use a special lubricant to wipe it off.
Some people use cooking spray and soak a cloth on warm water and use it to wipe the sticky mark off left by the tape.

Just mix soap and water until it becomes bubbly.

You can also clean it using a hand sanitizer and toothpaste.
For the hand sanitizer, the procedure is the same with the Isopropyl rubbing alcohol, put it on a clean cloth and wipe the marks.
As for using toothpaste, partly soak the clean cloth in water then put toothpaste on the wet part and spread it around that same area.
After that you can now apply it on the marks and wipe it off.
