The always silent member of the GI Joe team, Snake Eyes is the team's resident expert in covert operations.

He has served in countless military operations and is one of the backbone members of the team. Snake Eyes is mute due to an explosion that resulted in damage to his vocal chords.
He trained as a ninja with an old military colleague, code named Storm Shadow, as a part of the Arashikage clan and the two have been both blood brothers and bitter rivals when an assassin killed one of the masters of the clan looking to kill Snake Eyes. Storm Shadow blames Snake Eyes for the killing.

As a member of the GI Joe team, Snake Eyes has proven himself as courageous and brave, usually being the first in on the front lines.
