Family Crisis Affected Due to Recession
It's not easy to take care of your family when the recession is affecting your ability to give them what they need, especially with the cost of living is at the moment sky high. A lot of parents today find it difficult to keep ends meet, yet alone cater for their children's needs. I know it can be difficult, and it's a strain on you, and your partner to see your children go without. Although times are hard, we need not think it's the end of the world. Of couse if you ask your child/children what they want, obviously the answer would be a Toy, most of the time it would be an expensive Toy. Now ask yourself, how that Toy is helping the child, what can it give your child that you can't. You will find that actually a child's need if we thought correctly as a Parent, that a child's need is happy home, where they feel loved, and cared for. A toy does not give a child this feeling, it actually separates the child from its parent for most part of the day. Giving your child or children the attention, spending time with them as a family, going out to the park, or maybe even in your garden, or in their room. I think most of the time when we buy a child a toy is to make us feel good about ourselves. Think about it, how many times have you given your child or told your child go and play, or put on cartoons to distract them from bothering you. I am sure there are a lot of you if you're being honest about it that would own up to it. You need not find any excuse, but a simple solution. I say it's simple, the best gift you can give your child in days like this is yourself, and your attention. It doesn't cost much.
