How to Restore a Single Program From a Vista Backup on a D Drive
- 1). Click "Start" from the System Tray located at the bottom of the desktop. Type "Restore" in the "Search Field" of the Start menu and press the "Enter" key.
- 2). Click "Backup and Restore Center" under "Programs" in the Start menu.
- 3). Click "Restore Files" from the Backup and Restore Center window.
- 4). Click "Files from the latest backup" from the Restore Files window and click "Next."
- 5). Browse to the folder of the program you wish to restore and click the "Add" button. If you don't know the location of the program file, you can enter the program name in the "Search" field and Windows will locate the folder for you. Once you have added the program, click "Next."
- 6). Click "In the original location" option from the resulting Restore Files window. Click the "Start restore" button. Click the option "Copy and Replace" from the Copy File window. The restore process begins. Once the restore has completed, click the "Finish" button.
