How to Install the American Heritage College CD Disc
- 1). Locate the CD or DVD drive on your computer. On desktop computers this is located on the front of the tower. On laptop computers this is located on the right or left side of the keyboard.
- 2). Push the button on the disc drive to open the CD or DVD player. Some CD drives will not slide out; if a plate does not slide out or a CD does not come out, you are prepared for the next step.
- 3). Place the CD image side up onto the plate, or slide the CD into the computer. An AutoPlay window should open requesting you to install the software program.
- 4). Choose "Install." If the AutoPlay window did not open, move on to the next step.
- 5). If AutoPlay does not occur, click the "Start" menu in the lower left of your desktop and click "Computer." Double-click your DVD or CD drive under "Devices with Removable Storage." It will be entitled "CD Drive" or "DVD Drive"; it may also say "American Heritage." Choose the "Setup" file. When the setup program opens, click "Install."
