    • 1). Build a cabinet door frame. Rabbet the inside back corner of all four frame pieces 1/4-inch deep by 3/8-inch. This will allow you to install a door panel after constructing the door frame. Construct your frame using 3/8-inch full width mortise-and-tenon joints. Add carpenter's glue to the joints and clamp. Allow the glue to dry completely.

    • 2). Rip your bead molding to 1/2-inch width. Measure the inside width of the door frame and miter cut your bead molding 1/32 inch longer than your measurement. Use a 45-degree miter angle.

    • 3). Apply a line of carpenter's glue along the inside face of the cabinet door frame.

    • 4). Bend the bead molding slightly and insert it into the corners. Press the molding into the glue and finish with brad nails every 6 inches. Repeat for the other inside face edges.

    • 5). Cut a 1/4-inch-thick panel to fit the back routed opening. Glue and nail in place with small brads.
