How to Remotely Install eBlaster
- 1). Click the "Add remote install option for eBlaster" check-box after you select the number of licenses you need on the official order form for SpectorSoft eBlaster. Complete the purchase and payment process until you see a download prompt or receive an email with a download link.
- 2). Click on the prompt or link to download the program file folder to your computer. Open the folder by clicking on it and follow the directions on the welcome screen to configure it. Make sure to specify your email when you are asked to submit an email address to which you want reports sent.
- 3). Compose an email message in your usual email client. Include a short message instructing the recipient to click on the attached file. Use the file attachment feature to upload the install file from the location where eBlaster saved it on your computer. This is usually your downloads folder or documents folder, unless you specified another location in the setup dialog.
- 4). Send the email to the intended recipient. Check your email for activity reports to confirm that the recipient has installed the program.
- 5). Copy the install file to a CD-ROM disk in the event it has not been installed or is corrupted. Insert a CD-ROM disk into your CD/DVD writer drive and drag the file from the location where you saved it to your CD-ROM drive file. You can then mail that disk to the person whose computer you want to monitor, or send an agent to install the program on that remote computer.
