How to Convert a CD for a DVD Player
- 1). Power on the DVD player and turn on the television connected to it. Change the television to "Video" so the TV switches to DVD input.
- 2). Insert the CD in the DVD player. Wait for the CD to load onto the television screen. Due to the formatting difference, it may take a few moments for the CD to load through your DVD player. When the CD loads onto the screen, you will see either a track listing for audio CDs or a video CD automatically beginning to play.
- 3). Press "Play" on the DVD player (or DVD remote), and the CD will begin to play (if it hasn't already started). If it is a video CD, both audio and video will play (at a lower quality than what you get on a DVD). If it is an audio-only CD, you'll hear it through the television speakers.
