3 Must Do"s For Online Dating Success

As you already know, the world of online dating can be a bear to navigate.
In order to maximize your success (and your contacts from beautiful women), there are a few things you want to keep in mind when creating your online dating profile.
In this article I'm going to go over three basics that NEED to be covered in your profile in order to be successful.
1.
Show Your Uniqueness You have to differentiate yourself from the crowd.
An opening like the one I suggest above will do that right away, and you want to keep that going.
Instead of listing your interests like you're applying for a job, pick a couple and go with them.
You want to create emotion and feeling as you write this.
You want depth.
You want to pull her in.
Here's an example from the cut and paste in my profile book on your interests.
It's written for someone into rock climbing.
Oh, and look, before you gag on this, understand that we're not writing this profile so I like it, or you like it or your friends like it.
We're writing it to get a woman attracted to you.
If you're interested in having your friends fall for you, then write what they like.
If you want women to want you, write so you're attractive to them.
There's a big difference.
I got hooked on rock climbing about 4 years ago.
I go as much as I can these days.
There's something about the balance between the physical and mental challenge as you pick your next hold and go for it that I really like.
Sometimes the rock seems to fight you and you have to find a way to make it up.
But usually it feels like you and the cliff are working together to get to the top.
I love being in that zone where I just feel connected to the world.
Like there is the freedom to do anything, a stillness and curiosity that I take from the mountain into my daily life.
I won't drag you up a mountain with me, but if you're the kind of woman who feels renewed looking down from the top of a hill with your man in the warm sun, rivers cascading through the green and brown landscape below, I'd love to share that with you.
See, I wasn't kidding when I said that it's a bit over the top.
And before you bombard me with emails telling me what a sap I am, understand that even I think it's a little much.
But I'm not interested in my reaction to it.
I only care how women respond to this kind of writing.
And it's become obvious over years of testing hundreds of profiles that this works.
So I do it.
You should too.
2.
Proofread Your Profile Proofread your profile.
This will take you an extra 15 minutes and it's probably the best 15 minutes you can invest in your online dating profile.
What you say is important, but how you say it says a lot more about you.
A profile with spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and incorrect punctuation doesn't make the best impression.
Careless writing makes her think you just don't care, lack intelligence and are lazy.
And believe it or not, some women don't find stupid, lazy, apathetic men particularly attractive.
If you want an intelligent, caring woman, you need to write like an intelligent, caring guy.
No, you don't have to follow all the grammatical rules you learned in seventh grade.
In fact you might not want to since it's a good idea to write your profile like you talk, but you do have to show her that you have half a brain.
If you don't have something like MS Word that has a spelling and grammar check, ask a friend to look your profile over.
As a last resort you can send it to me and I can proofread it.
I'll proof it if I have time, and if I can't, I'll let you know.
3.
Close your profile with a call to action.
Alright, you've spent all that time picking out your pictures and writing your profile.
Now you have to tell her what to do.
Ask her to send you a message and give her a specific reason to write to you.
Ask her a question about herself, ask her what she thinks of a picture you posted, or ask how she felt after reading your profile.
The idea is to give her some direction so she doesn't have to think about what to write about.
And if you're willing to actually do it, end with a promise to write everyone back who writes you.
Here are a couple of cut and paste closes you can use in your profile.
It would be great if you sent me a message.
We might really hit it off.
But we won't know unless you contact me.
Tell me something unique about yourself, something attractive about you besides your looks, or what you thought of my profile.
I promise to write everyone who writes me.
:) I've also used this one successfully: It would be great to hear back from you.
I'd love to hear more about you, simple things like what you like most about yourself or maybe a favorite holiday story with your family if it's not too personal.
I promise to write everyone who writes me.
:) Make it easy for her to respond to you.
Give her an excuse.
If she's interested, you don't want to lose her just because she doesn't know what to say.
Make it easy for her.
Following these tips, as well as the others I have covered in previous articles and on my website, will really set you apart from the crowd and get you noticed.
