    Beinecke Scholarship

    • Established in 1971, the Benecke Scholarship was created in honor of three Beinecke brothers: Edwin, Fredrick and Walter. The scholarship program is administered by the Sperry Fund. It gives $30,000 to 20 graduating college students for use during their graduate program. Candidates must be nominated by their college during their junior year. If selected, they will receive $4,000 to apply toward college costs before receiving the larger graduate school award. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or be from American Samoa or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Applicants must also have an established record of financial need while in college.

    NORDAM Dee Howard/Etienne Fage Scholarship

    • This scholarship is administered by the National Business Aviation Association in conjunction with the NORDAM Group. It is a memorial scholarship established in honor of two pioneer aerospace engineers, Dee Howard and Etienne Fage. Each year, it supports one undergraduate student at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Only students pursuing a major in either aerospace engineering or aeronautical systems maintenance engineering are eligible. Applicants must be in their sophomore, junior or senior year and must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. They must complete an application form and submit an official transcript, an essay, a letter of recommendation and a resume.

    Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's Graduate Arts Award

    • Artistic and highly creative students can apply for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's Graduate Arts Award. The program gives up to $50,000 to 10 students for study at an institution in the United States or abroad. Recipients must use the money to pursue a graduate degree in the performing arts, visual arts or creative writing. Applicants must seek nomination by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's Faculty Representative at their college. Candidates considered will be those with at least a GPA of 3.2 and they must submit an official transcript and two letters of recommendation. They must also sign a confidentiality waiver.

    APIASF Scholarship Program

    • Students from Asia and the Pacific Islands can take advantage of the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF). The organization gives between $2,500 and $8,000 to at least 200 students annually. Although applicants must be U.S. citizens, citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are also eligible for the scholarship. All applicants must must have a 2.7 GPA and must be currently enrolled in an accredited American college. They are also required to have applied for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Application forms must be accompanied by at least one recommendation letter.
