How to Install Windows Vista on a PSP Without a Flash Player
- 1). Purchase a new copy of the Microsoft Windows Vista product (see Resources). This copy should only be used on your PSP and not anywhere else--sharing discs is illegal.
- 2). Insert your Vista disc into the computer. Close the pop-up window asking you to set up installation.
- 3). Click "My Computer" in the "Start" menu. Right-click your CD/DVD drive and click "Explore." Do not double-click; this will only cause the pop-up to recur.
- 4). Connect your Universal Media Disc (UMD) writer to your computer. Insert a blank UMD into the writer.
- 5). Open "My Computer" via the "Start" menu. Right-click the UMD drive and click "Explore."
- 6). Copy all files and folders from the CD/DVD drive with the Vista disc in it. Paste them into the UMD drive. Click "Write to disc" in the left-hand pane.
- 7). Put the UMD into your PSP.
- 8). Turn on the PSP. Follow the instructions as they appear on screen, just like a normal computer. Have your unique product key nearby.
