As part of a production team, you will be responsible for either preparing or packaging food to be sent out to retail stores across the country.
You will want to do some research into all the different kinds of food manufacturing jobs there are, so you will have a more clear idea of what you will want to do once you graduate from school.
Make sure that when you are looking for a school to go to, you find one that has a good program you can get into.
Some positions in food manufacturing or production do not require more than a high school education, however if you plan on becoming a manager or supervisor, you might want to consider going to school for it.
