  1. Drinking too much caffeine throughout the day.

  2. Going to bed when you are not sleepy.

    When you know that you are unable to fall asleep yet you are forcing yourself, you will only increase your stress levels and make it that much more difficult to attain peaceful slumber.
  3. Watching the clock.
    If you watch the hours pass by as you are trying to fall asleep, you will surely never attain a night of peaceful slumber.
    When we stare at the hours passing by we only become more and more frustrated.
    So make sure that you clock is out of sight from your bed.
