Aion Stigma Skills In Aion there are skills that can be taken up by you from other classes in the game.
These are called Stigma skills.
The purpose of this is to be able to surprise other players in combat by using skills they did not know you had obtained.
This also makes these a very vital choice in your character's progression because it can significantly benefit you.
Stigma Slots The maximum number of Stigma stones you will be able to hold end-game are 5, with the number at various levels as follows: Level 20 - 2, Level 30 - 3, Level 40 - 4, Level 50 - 5 In order to unlock the Stigma slots you must complete a quest.
This quest is more detailed in the next section.
Stigma Quest In order to obtain access to the Stigma slots you must also complete a quest, which is the same for all classes of each race (meaning the only difference you will experience is if you are on Elyos and then Asmodian).
This quest will become available to you at level 20.
Stigma Stones The first thing you will need once you have completed the Stigma quest is to get the Stigma stones for skills that you wish to obtain.
There are multiple ways to obtain these, however some are easier than others.
To obtain Stigma stones some are available as quest rewards and others are obtained only by getting drops from mobs (some of which are more rare than others).
The good thing about these stones, however, is that they are trade-able, giving you the chance to purchase them from other players.
Giving this choice allows you to decide if you wish to go farming for a chance to obtain it, or just give someone else currency and get it off them.
Stigma Shards To equip the Stigma stones you will need Stigma shards.
These are obtained from your first quest (at level 20), from other Stigma Quests, from defeating guards of an opposing race, or from hunting various monsters (in the Abyss).
When obtaining these shards it is highly recommended that you farm more than you currently need, if nothing else to save you the time of having to farm them in the future.
