How to Make an AOL Home Page
- 1). Visit the AOL website by going to AOL.com.
- 2). Click on the link that is located at the top left-hand corner of the page, "Make AOL Your Homepage."
- 3). Select the option to "Use this web page as your only home page." Click "Yes" to save your settings.
- 4). Click on the "AOL.Com" tab of your new home page. Select the option that is located on the far right-hand side to "Customize your page."
- 5). Click on the "Themes" that are located in the top right-hand corner of your AOL home page. Browse through the available themes until you find one that you would like to appear on your home page. Click on your theme of choice to activate it on your page.
- 6). Select the different "News" categories you would like to appear on your AOL home page. You can choose from a variety of news feeds, such as politics, auto news, and entertainment. Click "Save Changes" to save your personalized news feeds.
- 7). Click on "Edit" that is located in the "My Stuff" section on the right-hand side of your page. Customize your "My Stuff" settings by choosing the applications that you want to appear on your home page, such as radio stations, health information, finances, weather and sports. Click "Save" to apply your changes.
- 8). Add your favorite or most visited links to your AOL home page by clicking on "Add New Link" in the "My Links" section on the left-hand side of your page. By adding your favorite links here, it will prevent you from having to keep going to your browser bookmarks to find links.
