Many folk have a beautiful looking freshwater fish aquarium in their home, in a bedroom, the lounge, the dining room or wherever they choose to put it.
And of course the owner will care for it and watch it, as indeed will passers by and neighbours.
But is it only the home an aquarium is good enough for? Or can we put them in other establishments? You bet you can! You can put one almost anywhere.
It certainly is not just the home which is good enough for an aquarium.
If you think about it for just a minute you'll realise that actually, quite a lot of businesses and services have them.
What about schools for example? Most schools will have some sort of aquarium set up because they know that kids just love to look and gaze at the wonderful fish and plants.
It's almost like it calms them down ready to learn.
You don't see kids fighting whilst watching the fish do you? No, they simply gaze in awe, quietly poised to take it all in while sometimes whispering the words, "look at that one".
A lot of businesses have them both in staff areas and public waiting areas, and again it seems to be for the smooth, calming effect that a freshwater fish aquarium or any aquarium for that matter can give.
Very often a hospital clinic or dental area will have an aquarium for the same reasons and don't forget, they just add a very nice, additional touch to the place of work.
So folks, have one in your home by all means, but don't forget that a freshwater fish aquarium is for both business and pleasure.
