    • 1). Open the Outlook mail program.

    • 2). Click the "Home" tab on the command ribbon.

    • 3). Click the "New E-mail" button in the "New" group. This button displays a page and a stamped envelope.

    • 4). Click the "Message" tab.

    • 5). Click the down-arrow for the "Signature" button in the "Include" group.

    • 6). Click "Signatures." The "Signatures and Stationery" window opens.

    • 7). Click the "New" button below the first text box. A "New Signature" dialog box opens.

    • 8). Type the name of the message signature. This name can be a shortened version to appear on a list of signatures. For example, the initials.

    • 9). Click "OK."

      Type the signature on one line in the second text box labelled "Edit signature." Move the cursor to the second line. Type the title on the second line. For example, "J.J. McIvor-Kam" on one line, followed by "Business Owner" on the second line.

      Format the text with the preferred font, font size, font color and alignment options. Click and drag to select the text for editing. For example the title can display with a smaller font than the signature.

      Click "OK." The signature saves to a signature list.

      Click the "Signature" button on the "Message" tab's "Include" group. A signature list appears.

      Click the signature from the list. The signature and title appear on the message.
