    Instructions

    • 1). Cover the outside of your glass (or plastic) container with aluminum foil, stopping one-third of the way from the top.

    • 2). Tape the foil in place so that it doesn't move or become damaged.

    • 3). Fill the container with warm water and add a liberal amount of salt. Replace the lid.

    • 4). Hammer a nail into the lid, leaving the top centimeter exposed; the nail must touch the water.

    • 5). Glue around the nail to keep it in place and to keep water inside.

    • 6). Charge your Leyden Jar with an external power supply or a static electricity generator. Enjoy.
