• Scrapbooks help you to preserve precious moments forever. A scrapbook is a record of the moments of joy, wonder and sometimes frustration to share with your baby when he grows up. Capture all milestones and moods like rolling over, standing up, walking, cutting his first tooth, saying his first words, throwing tantrums and showing off smiles. Repeat some themes, like the baby's attempts to feed and dress without help, at intervals of a few months, to record how the baby grows and changes. Add a little adornment to the pages with scrapbook decorations and stickers. However, don't crowd pages with too many pictures and embellishments.
  
  

Birthday

• This is where you put your first photo of your baby with you. Add details like the baby's time of birth, height and weight. Create pockets on the page by pasting rectangular pieces of transparent plastic. Keep things like the hospital ID bracelet in the pockets.
  
  

Baby's First Day Home

• You might need some help with this one as you will already have your hands full, taking care of your newborn. Get someone to take photographs from the moment you step into your house with your child. The first nap at home, waking up, feeding--every moment of this day is worth capturing. You may find it difficult to choose which pictures to keep in your scrapbook.
  
  Place the picture you like best at the bottom right corner of the page. Write a few phrases above it describing your feelings on that day. You can create a simple, soft-toned border around this with decorative stickers. Arrange the other pictures, tilted slightly, along the left and top edges of the page.
  
  

Bath Time

• This page will show your baby in many different moods. You can have a bath-time page once every three months or so during your baby's first year and see how your baby starts taking charge of bath time as she grows. Adorn the pages with small stickers of bath toys and water puddles. Arrange these in a row along the bottom of the page. Add comments and record small incidents to bring more life to the pages.
  
  

First Haircut

• Preserve a few locks of hair in a special pocket made on the scrapbook page. Place "before" and "after" photos side by side at the top center of the page, with the pocket for holding the hair at the center. Arrange the other pictures below it. You may need to get the other pictures printed in a smaller size to fit the page. If your baby starts throwing a tantrum during the haircut, don't forget to get pictures of that, too.
  
  

Trying To Stand Up

• Put together the attempts to stand up, both failed and successful, on this page. Pick a few pictures that will show your baby's progress. You can make a step-like arrangement for the photos, from the bottom left corner to the top right corner of the page. Scatter short comments on the page about funny incidents that happened when baby tried to stand up.
  
  

Favorite Toy

• Is there a special toy that your baby enjoys playing with? Click a picture of your baby having fun with the toy. Place this picture at the center of the scrapbook page. A picture of a collection of your baby's toys may also trigger good memories years later. Place this picture below the first one. Make these pages bright and colorful to match the playful mood of your baby.
