How To Replace Your Pool Cartridge

You have been working hard, and you deserve a cool dip in the luscious pool.
The problem is that your pool isn't clean, because you haven't changed your pool cartridge since last year.
Have no fear, because it's not nearly as difficult as you might think.
The first thing you need to do is shut off the main breaker to the pool by finding the home breaker box.
Each button should be marked and identified making it easy to know which button to shut off.
After you shut off the pool breaker proceed to the next step.
Next you need make sure that all of the valves are shut by the valve levers.
You can open the release control device by rotating it to the right.
This will permit air to pass through a filter, dissipating the lines.
Take out the filter cartridge by breaching the filter box and tugging the cartridge up and out of the lodging.
To pull the cap off you need to release the retaining screws around the lodging, and yank off the cap.
It would be wise to follow the manufacturer's instructions when needed.
You're almost near the end of the steps but there is one left to do, and that is to move the new filter cartridge with a sliding motion into the lodging area.
Replace the top of the lodging and fasten it by re-tightening the screws and hardware.
Open all of the valves on the filter and then turn the filter on through the breaker.
Once things return back to normal shut the air release valve.
Now you can once again enjoy the magnificence of the pool, while bronzing your skin out in the warm afternoon sun.
Make sure that you continue to change your filter out periodically so that you don't ever have to jump into a dirty pool again.
