How to Make My Ex Boyfriend Want Me Back - What I Did to Get Him Back Fast
Often when you're in the middle of a break up, the love you once felt for your boyfriend might seem as though it's slipped away. In the heat of the moment anger can take over and it can overshadow everything else you are feeling. When me and my boyfriend broke up I didn't realize at the time how deeply I still cared for him. Once the anger died down I felt lost without him. I wanted another chance with him so I decided to seek out as much advice as I could about how to make my ex boyfriend want me back.
First I turned to friends who almost all offered the same advice. They told me to call him and ask him to consider trying again. I did this, more than once, and it only resulted in my ex becoming frustrated and angry with me. I realized then that he needed space so if I wanted to be honest with myself about how to make my ex boyfriend want me back I had to start by giving him the distance he requested.
This wasn't easy but it was helpful. What I did was I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't contact him for a week. I knew that would be incredibly challenging for me, because inside I was panicking and fearful that if I didn't talk or email him, I'd lose my chance with him. So instead of approaching it as a week long exercise, I did it one day at a time. I woke up each day with the intention of not contacting him. I filled my time with friends, work and doing things I really enjoyed like going to the movies and having dinner out. Once a day passed, I'd go to sleep knowing that I'd do it all over again the next day.
I also came to the realization that if I wanted to really focus on how to make my ex boyfriend want me back, I needed to stay away from his friends and family. My ex is a proud and private person and although I was really tempted to call his friends and ask them to talk to him for me I knew that would result in him feeling betrayed. When we broke up I wanted to talk to everyone who knew both of us to get their input, but I also knew that he wouldn't appreciate it, so I fought the urge. I'm very glad I did.
