How to Make Spanish Drums
- 1). Use paint or paper and other craft pieces to decorate the coffee cans of two different sizes. If you are using paper instead of paint, make sure to cut the piece of paper to fit the size of the containers. Leave the containers to dry. After they are dry, remove the lids from the top and turn the cans upside down in such a way that their silver bottoms become the heads of the bongos.
- 2). Take the string, shoelace or ribbon to make bongo drum strap. The length of the string should be enough to slip over your shoulders.
- 3). Create a small hole on the upper and lower sides of the cans close to the top. Insert strings through the holes and knot them down on both the ends. This step helps you complete the task of making bongo drum strap.
- 4). Use glue to attach wooden bead to the container and leave it to dry. Take another wooden bead and repeat the process. Place each wooden bead little away from the other. The beads are for decorative purposes.
- 5). Take the second container to repeat the process. Decorate it the same way you did the first can so that they complement each other.
- 6). Display your replica.
