Recognizing Symptoms of Anxiety and Panic Attacks
The symptoms of anxiety attacks begin simply with feelings of apprehension, edginess, lack of concentration, irritation and feelings that something terrible is about to happen.
These are only the preliminary typical symptoms of anxiety and panic.
The worst of all though is that these symptoms do not simply stop with emotional symptoms they will then progress and present in very physical symptoms which can be very debilitating and frightening to the sufferer such as increased heart rate, sweating, hyperventilation or lack of breath, muscle tension and tremors, faintness, disorientation and finally heart palpitations and chest cramps which leave the sufferer fearing that they might die as a result of the anxiety attack.
Far too often though the sufferer of these symptoms of anxiety or panic attacks will actually allow the first sign of any of these symptoms to become a catalyst for the next attack as when they become aware of the first symptoms, they already begin to enter into a state of heightened anxiety or panic as they begin to already fear the next attack.
However if one is able to actually change their brainwave programming, they will quickly realize that these symptoms need not be their enemy and they will soon learn how to use the symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks as a very effective tool when it comes to preventing the attack itself from happening.
Should you successfully be able to recognize the symptoms of anxiety or panic attacks in their earliest manifestations and are able to apply relaxation techniques such as controlled breathing, positive visualization or the Bagha, then in effect you will be able to disarm the attack by preventing your body from going into "fight or flight" mode before the attack has a chance to take place.
This is but one of the ways which a sufferer of anxiety disorder is able to change the symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks from being a threat into being a very strong ally in their battle to overcome the disorder.
