Sleep Deprivation Could Very Well Be Affecting Your Anxiety - Here Are Some Things You Can Do
A lot of us lead a really busy life, and this can very well weigh us down and stress us out so much that even a doing a simple chore can be quite irritating.
To save time, we all sometimes pull all-nighters, hoping to get the work done before we wear out ourselves and finally get pushed to sleep by our own body as it cannot take the pressure you're putting on it.
We have forgot the importance of a good night's sleep and its benefits.
We pay more attention to work and less emphasis on our very own sleep.
On average we all need at least 6-7 hours of proper sleep to function normally.
We NEED rest.
it is important that we don't push ourselves so far that we burn out completely.
Lack of proper sleep can lead to many problems, the major one being stress.
lack of sleep can make you feel like wreck all day long.
You loose focus and are unable to complete your day to day task's with much ease.
Sleep deprivation can cause you a huge amount of physical as well as mental stress that very well leads to heightened anxiety.
You can take certain steps that could help you with the stress caused by lack of sleep and also a couple of measures you can take that will help you sleep a whole lot better.
a) Loosen up those ravaged nerves with a hot shower.
A hot shower not only make's you feel good physically but also mentally.
You are likely to have a good nights sleep after a steaming hot shower, Trust me, you'll wake up feeling incredible.
b) Avoid energy drinks, even though you may feel great at first you are likely to have a bad "crash" later during the day and it feels awful.
its best to avoid those monster drinks, maybe a Starbucks coffee, but that is as far as you should go.
If you still feel that you're unable to focus on the task at hand its best to walk away from it and do something totally different and come back to it when you're feeling a bit better.
You'll end up feeling a lot less stressed.
c) Exercise whenever you can, i have mentioned this in a number of my articles and I cannot stress on how much this helps in so many ways.
Your exercise doesn't have to be a 2 hour burnout.
A simple walk in the park is good enough.
You should focus on getting proper sleep and please do not miss out your breakfast, it is fuel for your body.
It is just as important as lunch or dinner and should not be skipped for any reason.
While my advice might sound pretty simple, just applying these simple steps to your everyday life will have significant results.
