How to Make Simple Flowers
- 1). Choose up to four colors that you want to use in your flower. Lay one sheet of each of the colors on top of each other to form a neat stack.
- 2). Start at one shorter end and fold the paper like an accordion. To do this, fold the edge forward about an inch then flip the paper over and fold it back. Continue flipping and folding until you have a 1-inch wide folded strip.
- 3). Loop the end of a green pipe cleaner around the strip, directly at the center, and twist it so the pipe cleaner will hold the tissue paper securely.
- 4). Fluff and unfold the layers of tissue paper on either side of the pipe cleaner to reveal a multicolored flower. Fluff them enough to cover the loop of pipe cleaner.
