All these conditions, are obviously, not found in men and therefore, women have a higher percentage of getting depression.
Rape is one serious crime that may leave very deep psychological scars on girls and women.
Young girls who do not have much information on this topic may end up hurting themselves or even committing suicide.

It is natural for women who cannot have babies to end up getting extremely depressed.
For many women, cheating husbands also trigger depression.

In short, it seems that women have a higher probability and circumstances to fall prey to depression.
