Find Top Ranked Apps

• 1). Press the "Home" button and then tap the "App Store" icon.
  
  
• 2). Tap the "Top 25" icon at the bottom of the "App Store" menu.
  
  
• 3). Select "Top Paid," "Top Free" or "Top Grossing" from the top menu.
  
  
• 4). Move your finger up or down the screen to scroll. As you scroll, look for the application you want to know more about. If you do not see it after 25 listings, tap "Twenty Five More," which loads the next 25 listings.
  
  
• 5). View the listing for the desired app. Next to the title, you see a number indicating how well the app ranks in the iPhone App Store.
  
  

Determine App Ratings

• 1). Press the "Home" button on the iPhone, which pulls up the home screen menu.
  
  
• 2). Tap the "App Store" application to access the current selection of free and paid iPhone apps.
  
  
• 3). Locate the app for which you want to see a rating. You can do this by going to the Featured section, Categories, Top 25 or Search area.
  
  
• 4). Look at the three-line listing for the app. On the third line, you see a set of stars. The stars are colored to denote the app's rating. For example, if the first three stars are fully colored and the fourth star is partially filled, the iPhone app has a three-and-a-half star ranking.
