How to Get Rid of Calcium Deposits on a Bathroom Sink
- 1). Create a cleaning solution consisting of 4 cups of white vinegar and 2 cups of baking soda. Mix the white vinegar and baking soda together in a bucket.
- 2). Soak a sponge thoroughly in the cleaning solution, and apply it liberally to the entire surface of the sink. You may need to apply the solution several times if the calcium deposits have built up over time.
- 3). Clean the bathroom faucet by filling a plastic bag with the cleaning solution and placing it over the faucet. Tie the bag to the faucet with a piece of string, or secure it with a rubber band.
- 4). Allow the solution to remain on the faucet for five to 10 minutes, then remove the bag. Discard it, and pour warm water over the faucet until all the calcium deposits are gone.
