Get Rid of Panic Attacks - What I Did to Treat My Panic Disorder and End Panic Attacks Forever
What most people believe is that, you need to go to a doctor and have some prescribed drugs when you want to get rid of panic attacks.
It is not the case.
Drugs can cause serious side effects.
Worse, they might cause addiction, and addictions can devastate your life.
However, I did go see several doctors for my anxiety attacks problem, and they didn't do anything to cure my panic attacks.
I have experienced a lot about panic attacks, and I think I can now confidently say that if you want to get rid of your panic attacks, the best way to do so is by curing it yourself.
While it looks like that the panic attack episodes come from absolutely nowhere (it happened when I was taking kids to the school, when I was driving, when I was cooking), scientific research has concluded beyond a doubt that every panic attack episode actually has an underlying trigger.
You can find that trigger and neutralize it so that you will never have another episode again.
But when you do feel anxious and tense, know that you have to relax before you have another episode.
A method I am going to outline now is something that helped me greatly whenever I felt stressed and anxious: First, find somewhere to lie down.
If you aren't in such a place, a comfortable chair can do too.
Be situated comfortably.
Take one of your hands and place it on your stomach.
Feel your breaths.
Breathe slowly, and deeply.
Keep in mind that by breathing deeply you are sending a lot more oxygen to your brain, which will make you feel better.
With each deep breath, feel the oxygen rushing to your brain, and the blood that is running in your veins.
Muscle relaxation is very important also.
Tense your muscles and let them go.
Tense them, and relax.
When you tense a muscle, do it for a few seconds.
This will add a feeling of relaxation, and will help you pre-empt the next episode.
