  Legos are plastic toys that children use to build the structure or vehicle of their dreams. They also are the basis for Legoland, a family amusement and theme park near San Diego. Legoland features more than 60 rides and attractions, all with a Lego theme. The park also has a water area with slides, pools and structures that appear to be made of Legos. Visitors to Legoland can stay within 10 miles of the park at campgrounds and RV parks in the Oceanside area.
  
  

Paradise by the Sea RV Resort

• Located less than 10 miles from Legoland in Oceanside, Paradise by the Sea RV Resort has 102 sites with electric, water and sewer connections. The resort is only about 100 yards from the Pacific Ocean, and there is a walkway from the facility to the beach. Amenities include bath, shower and laundry facilities, wireless Internet, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub and a grocery/camp supply store. Oceanside RV Park

• Oceanside RV Park, about 10 miles from Legoland, has 144 RV sites with electric, water and sewer connections. Amenities include bath, shower and laundry facilities, an outdoor swimming pool, wireless Internet and a recreation area. The park is about a quarter-mile from the beach, but campers have to cross South Coast Highway to access it. Each site at Oceanside RV Park has a fence or landscaping to add privacy.

Guajome County Park

• Guajome County Park, about 10 miles from Legoland in Oceanside, has 34 campsites with electric and water connections but no sewer. Amenities include bath and shower facilities, two fishing ponds, two recreation areas with playgrounds and basketball courts and almost five miles of hiking and biking trails. The campground is also within walking distance of Guajome Lake for fishing and swimming. The park is about eight miles from the beaches of Oceanside and Carlsbad.
