How to Use a T-Post Puller
- 1). Put on protective gloves and nonskid shoes.
- 2). Set the T-post puller next to the T-post on a flat surface so the base of the puller does not wobble. The puller can face the front or back of the T-post.
- 3). Insert the T-post into the U-block of the post puller and close the latch around the other side of the post, if your puller has a latch.
- 4). Walk around to the handle and firmly push down on it so the post comes up out of the ground. You may have to pump the handle three to four times to get the post out all the way, especially if the ground is particularly hard or is frozen.
- 5). Undo the latch on the U-block to release the post.
