How to Make Fire Crystals
- 1). Choose a crystal to charge with fire energy. Clear red rubylite, rubies, red agates and garnets already hold some fire energy and will take to charging well. Choose a crystal with a fiery shape that fits comfortably in your hand. It should be about as large as your palm.
- 2). Find a place to work where you will not be disturbed. A sunny spot outside, an attic or private room are all good options. Daytime is good for using fire, but if you can only find privacy at night, that's fine, too.
- 3). Light some tapers around your space for light, if it's night. In the day, open your curtains or find a sunbeam. Set three short, squat column candles in a triangle in front of you. Column candles don't require holders and are less likely to fall. Find red, orange or gold candles. White will also work.
- 4). Light the three candles and hold your hands above the flames so you can just feel the heat. Be careful not to burn yourself. Focus on the heat of the flames and picture the energies of fire: the sun beating down, fireplaces heating homes, fire energies consuming disease and negativity.
- 5). Hold the crystal in your hands. Focus on its purpose of protection, banishment or any other intentions you have. See the crystal's energy as a light, pulsing and flickering like the candles.
- 6). Hold the crystal in the tongs and hold it in each flame. Picture the fire's energy being absorbed into the crystal. Keep the crystal in each flame for only a few seconds to avoid scorching. If it does scorch, the soot can be wiped away when the crystal cools.
- 7). Set the crystal in the center of the candle triangle. Do not touch it; it will be very hot. Hold your hands above the candles again, picturing the energies pulsing back and forth between the crystal and the candles. When the crystal cools, set it in a sunny spot where it will not be disturbed. Quench and store the candles.
