How to Get an iPhone out of Recovery Mode
- 1). Download and install the latest version of iTunes on the computer. Launch the program once it is installed.
- 2). Plug the iPhone into the computer using its USB cable.
- 3). Click to select the iPhone from the list of devices on the left side of the iTunes window.
- 4). Click the "Summary" tab in the main iTunes window, and then click the "Restore" button when prompted. Select to either restore from a backup or to factory defaults.
- 5). Wait as iTunes restores the iPhone. This process may take a few minutes. After the restoration is complete, the iPhone restarts itself. Do not unplug the device from the computer until it has completed the activation sequence.
- 6). Eject the iPhone from the computer. It is now out of recovery mode. If you did not restore the device from a backup, begin loading your information back onto the iPhone.
