Many women have unwanted hair problems and most of them wanted a way to remove them permanently. These women may feel reluctant of trying medical procedures of permanently removing unwanted hair. Some women may just be contented with using old methods that has worked for them for years now.
So what are hair removal methods that women uses nowadays?
Temporary Hair Removal Methods
Waxing with Sugar - This method works the same as waxing but instead of wax this procedure uses thick sugar substance. This sugar substance is applied to the skin in the direction of the growth of hair. The Hairs will then eventually stick to the sugary substance. A cloth will then be placed on top of the sugary substance and pulled away. The sugar substance left on the skin can be easily washed away with water.
Plucking - This method is time consuming that is why it is advisable only if you are only removing very few unwanted hairs such as on your eyebrows.
Shaving - This method is an effective and safe way for removing unwanted hairs on armpits, on legs, eyebrows. Just remember to use shaving cream to prepare the area to shaved. The only disadvantage of shaving if hair will grow stiff in a few days and so the need to shave again.

Electrolysis - Electrolysis is a method that inserts a thin metal probe into the hair follicle then electricity is applied which causes localized damage to the areas that generate hair growth. This method has been used for more than 125 years and has been proven safe and effective.
Laser Hair Removal - Laser Hair Removal is a method wherein light with specific wavelength is directed to the hair follicle to cause thermal/mechanical damage. This method will reduce hair growth and if growth occurs the hairs are usually lighter in color with fine textures.
IPL (Intense Pulse Light) - This method uses filtered full-spectrum light with low infrared radiation directed to the hair follicle to lessen the ability of hair growth. This method is somehow similar to laser hair removal which causes thermal/mechanical damage to the areas that is responsible for hair growth.
