According to the Duchess of Alba, it is true love even when there is 24-year age difference along with one spouse who has $4.7 billion and the other who makes $2,000 a month, and one has numerous titles and the other is a commoner.

Having 46 titles, she is reported to be "possessor of more aristocratic titles than anyone else in the world." The Telegraphdescribed the Duchess as an "eccentric bohemian role-model" who is "a duchess seven times over, a countess 19 times and a marquesa 23 times."

Cayetana: At the age of 88, the Duchess of Alba died on November 20, 2014 at her 14th century Palacio de Duenas in Seville, Spain.

Wedding Date:

Cayetana and Alfonso were married in a small ceremony on October 5, 2011 in the chapel at her home in Seville, Spain, Palacio de las Duenas. They had around 40 guests who were delighted with her flamenco dancing after the wedding ceremony. Alfonso and Cayetana honeymooned in Thailand.

Prenuptial Agreement:

Although they didn't use the term prenuptial agreement when talking to the press about family concerns about their marriage, Alfonso did agree to renounce any possible claim to the Duchess' fortune.To appease their unhappiness about her marriage, Cayetana shared her plans for her inheritance with her children prior to the wedding. Alfonso takes the title Duke of Alba after their marriage.

Residence:

The Duchess has as her primary residence the Palacio de las Duenas, a 16th century home in the old quarter of Seville.

Previous Marriages:

Cayetana has two other marriages.
  • Don Pedro Luis Martinez de Irujo y Artacoz: Luis and Cayetana were married on October 12, 1947 in Seville, Spain with over 1,000 guests.
