How to Enjoy Larchmont Village
- 1). Go for a walk in the Farmer's Market that occurs on Larchmont Avenue every Sunday morning. Dogs are often available for rescue, and fresh fruit and vegetables are plentiful. Many of the neighboring shops stay open as well, hosting specials and deals for those attending the market.
- 2). Take a class from Yoga Works, the well-known yoga shop that is located near Beverly Boulevard and Larchmont Avenue. After your yoga session, there are many shops nearby, where you can walk and relax with a cup of tea. If Pilates is more your thing, there's a studio for that just across the street.
- 3). Bring your dog along with you when you stroll the avenue. Many people do this, and dogs are welcome outside at many cafes. You'll delight your neighbors, and your dog is likely to find others there as well. This is, however, not recommended if your dog doesn't play well with others.
- 4). Try the large variety of restaurants that Larchmont Village is known for. Within a few blocks on Larchmont Avenue, you can try a French restaurant, Mexican restaurant, Greek restaurant, Italian restaurant and a pizzeria. Your choices are many, so come hungry.
- 5). Explore the neighborhoods in Larchmont. The houses are smaller than you might find in Beverly Hills, but the design and architecture is breathtaking. You'll even find theme homes, and one that looks like it came straight out of a Snow White fairy tale.
- 6). Explore the Landis stores on Larchmont Avenue. You'll delight in the gifts you'll find here, from rare cards and customized stationary, to just the right gift for the hard-to-shop for friend on your list. You'll also want to stop by the small bookstore.
