Vogue Pool Assembly Instructions
- 1). Check with your local legislative offices regarding necessary building permits and applicable bylaws regarding your pool project.
- 2). Select a spot to place your pool. It should be away from electrical lines and clothes lines, as well as underground electrical, cable and sewage lines. You may need to consult county offices before you choose a final location for your pool.
- 3). Remove all turf or sod from the ground where your pool will be and make sure the area is completely level A surface that is not level could cause the pool to collapse. Install the concrete pad.
- 4). Place the pool exterior on the concrete pad and begin to install the liner. The liner will come in one piece in the pool kit with a white beading that is welded to the liner top. The beading will help the liner hang onto the side of the pool. The liner will be a little small for the pool because it must stretch to fit tightly. Do not attempt to install the liner if it is colder than 60 degrees F, as it will not install properly.
- 5). Ask two to three people to help you install the liner. Sweep the pool to remove any debris. Heat the liner with a hair dryer and stretch it evenly for two feet. Install the lock clips and repeat until the entire liner is installed.
- 6). Prepare the pump and filter for installation. Apply approximately 20 clockwise wraps of (included) thermal or PTFE tape on a threaded fitting. Put a thin layer of silicone sealant on the tape. Insert the fitting until about 3/4 inch of it is in the socket. Cut the pump and filter pipes with a hacksaw, sand and glue them to the fittings. Allow the glue to dry for 24 hours.
- 7). Place the filter is on a flat surface approximately 2.5 meters from the pool. Attach the filter to the base unit so the pipeline is inside the filter case. Screw the strainer on the pipeline and center it on the bottom of the filter case. Block the open pipeline with tape and fill the filter with sand. Remove the tape and brush excess sand off of the filter.
- 8). Secure the valve on the filter case with provided clamps, tighten the fasteners, tape the inlet couplings and screw everything into the valve pump. Screw the rotating coupling into a flexible hose in the pump outlet. Turn the pool backwash valve on and allow it to run for three or four minutes. Turn it to "Rinse" for about one minute, then turn it to filtration.
- 9). Install the skimmer by attaching it to the wall under the top rail. Check the skimmer and clean it regularly.
