Considerations

• The texture of the transfer once it has been applied to the T-shirt, known as the hand, affects how comfortable the T-shirt is to wear and how durable the design will be. Different papers have different textures. Another consideration is the color of the shirts to be printed. Different transfer papers cost different amounts. Cost is also an issue.

• Bulk papers come in a range of popular designs, such as band logos, amusing slogans or classic cars. They may also have special effects such as glittering inks. For more specialized purposes, transfer papers can be ordered in custom designs. Blank transfer papers have a range of features, such as the ability to be printed using a domestic inkjet printer.
