How to Make a Colorful Diamond Friendship Bracelet
- 1). Measure and cut two pieces of yellow thread and one piece of green thread in 65 inch lengths.
- 2). Gather the tips of the threads together.
- 3). Fold the threads in half and tie a knot with a one-inch loop.
- 4). Attach the knot to the clip board and place the paper under the threads.
- 5). Spread the threads evenly across the paper and number each thread on the paper. Place a green thread at numbers one and six. The yellow threads should be at places two through five.
- 1). Take thread number one and cross it over thread number two in the shape of a number "4." Pull it under string number two and back up through the loop. Pull it tightly to form a knot.
- 2). Repeat Step 1. This is called a forward knot.
- 3). Hold thread number one and cross it over thread number three in the shape of a number "4." Pull it under string number three and back up through the loop. Pull it tightly to form a knot. Hold thread number one and cross it over thread number three in the shape of a backward number "4." Pull it up and through the loop. Pull it tightly to form a knot. This is called a forward/backward knot.
- 4). Hold thread number one and cross it over thread number two in the shape of a backward number "4." Pull it under string number two and back up through the loop. Pull it tightly to form a knot.
- 5). Repeat Step 4. This is called a backward knot.
- 6). Take thread number six and make a backward knot with thread number five.
- 7). Hold thread number six and cross it over thread number four in the shape of a backward number "4." Pull it underneath and back up through the loop. Pull it tightly to form a knot. Hold thread number six and cross it over thread number four in the shape of a number "4." Pull it back up through the loop. Pull it tightly to form a knot. This is called a backward/forward knot.
- 8). Hold thread number six and make a forward knot with thread number five.
- 9). Take thread number three and make a forward knot with thread number four.

Hold thread number three and make a backward/forward knot with thread number one. - 12
Take thread number four and make a forward knot with thread number five. - 13
Hold thread number four and make a forward/backward knot with thread number six. - 14

Take thread number three and make a forward knot with thread number four. - 18
Repeat Steps 1 through 18 to make the bracelet until there is three inches remaining at the end of the thread. - 1). Separate the threads into two sets of three.
- 2). Braid each set of threads.
- 3). Tie a knot at the end of each braid.
- 4). Remove the bracelet from the clipboard.
- 5). Slide one braid through the loop and tie the braids together to fasten the bracelet.
