How to Make a Collage With Pictures Drawn
- 1). Spread all of your pictures out on a large, flat surface, such as your living room floor, so you can see what you're working with. Compare pictures and determine the theme for your collage, such as keeping colors together, types of drawings such as animals and nature or whether you just want to blend all of the pictures together.
- 2). Cut around the white space of each drawing so that you just have the drawing itself; recycle the extra paper.
- 3). Lay the poster board on the floor and begin placing the drawings on top of it, moving them around into place and seeing what looks best in each position. Change drawings around as preferred.
- 4). Gently slide the poster board out from under the drawings, leaving them piled in place as the collage.
- 5). Pick up the drawing that will be in the top left corner of the collage and draw a line of glue around the edges of the back. If the drawing is large, also add lines of glue in the middle of the back. Gently press the drawing onto the poster board; smooth out any glue bubbles with your hand and take care that any part of the drawing that hangs off the edge of the poster board doesn't get glue on your rug.
- 6). Pick up the drawing to go next to the first one, add glue to the back and press it down onto the poster board. Overlap the drawings.
- 7). Work your way to the right edge of the poster board, adding more drawings.
- 8). Begin a new row underneath the first, with the drawing overlapping the drawing in the top left corner. Work your way to the right, adding any more additional rows to fit the size of the poster board.
- 9). (Optional) Create additional layers of drawings by gluing a drawing directly in the middle of the poster board, which will cover up parts of the other drawings. Be sure to let at least a small part of each drawing show through. Place additional drawings on top of the first layer.

(Optional) Dab a small dot of glitter glue, about the size of an eraser head, onto a section of the collage, then add more dots throughout.
