Your body gets used to routine and habits.
Let me give you an example.
If you started doing some exercises tomorrow you may at the beginning start to lose weight, but as your body starts to get used to the routine it will begin once again to store fat.
The fact is you need fat but in excess it is bad for you.
The key to better health is balance.
Number one you need to eat a balanced diet.
To eat a balanced diet you need to learn about what you eat.
You also need to learn what your body needs in terms of nutrition.
As you learn this you will start to realize that what you eat today may have too much of one ingredient.
Let's take sugar as an example.
Sugar is one of the simplest forms of carbohydrates.
Sugar can come in the form of fructose, which is fruit sugar, sucrose which is more processed sugar and lactose which is milk sugar.
When sugar goes into your system it enters your blood stream and raises your blood sugar levels.
This causes insulin to rise, which is a hormone that's task is to clear fat and sugar from your blood.
Once this process takes place the fat and sugar is passed to body tissue where it is stored.
Your body needs sugar, but too much means you will gain weight.
Hence we are back to why you need balance.
To conclude the real key to weight loss is education and understanding.
When you understand what food does to your body and I mean really understand not just superficially, then you will make better food choices and hence gain less weight.
