2009 FanimeCon – Mojgon Vatanchi
FanimeCon 2009 was Mojgon's third time exhibiting at this Bay Area anime show, and her experience showed as she had lots of artwork to share.
FanimeCon's Artist Alley was housed in one of the larger halls at the McEnery Convention Center, so there was lots to see, and lots of room to wander the aisles to view prints, original paintings, sketches and hand-crafted items by pro, semi-pro and amateur artists.
Several artists mentioned that they have exhibited at FanimeCon several years in a row, including Orange County-native, Mojgon Vatanchi.
Manga creators are often big fans of manga so I asked her what she likes reading most nowadays. "I like so many!" she said. "But I love Ouran High School Host Club right now. It's really cool and I like the comedy."
