How To Register for the Electoral Roll in the UK
- 1). Visit the About My Vote website (see Resources). This site allows you to print a blank electoral registration form or to fill out the form online and print it for submission.
- 2). Click the "Register To Vote" top tab. You can complete the form using your computer or use the link to print a blank copy of the form and fill it out by hand.
- 3). Enter your post code into the box and select your current address. This will automatically populate the form. If you do not see your address, enter it into the boxes provided. Accept the terms and conditions of the site by clicking the check box, then hit "Continue" to move forward.
- 4). Enter your previous addresses then click "Continue." You will then be asked to enter your personal details. Click "Continue" to complete the application.
- 5). Print the application and complete it with your signature. Mail the form to the address provided on the website for your local electoral registration office. Once the form is accepted you will be entered onto the electoral register.
