    Creating the Presentation

    • 1). Navigate to "Start" and locate "Microsoft Office" under "All Programs." Choose "Microsoft Producer for PowerPoint 2010."

    • 2). Select "Use the New Presentation Wizard" and click on "OK" followed by "Next." Choose the template you wish to use, taking into consideration whether your presentation consists of video, slides or both.

    • 3). Click on "Next" and make your selection of fonts and colors. Click on "Next" again.

    • 4). Fill out the "Presentation Information" page with the title of your presentation, presenter name, image for the introduction page and description of your course. The latter three boxes are optional. Click "Next" when you have finished.

    • 5). Import your PowerPoint presentation to add the slides and still images. Add any additional media, by clicking on "Browse" on the "Import or Capture Audio and Video" page, and making your selection.

    • 6). Choose "Yes" on the "Synchronize Presentation" page and click "Next." Click "Finish."

    • 7). Click on the "Media" tab and drag the video, audio, slides and images to where you want them on the timeline. The "Audio 2" track is for narration.

    • 8). Check your presentation by clicking on "Preview Presentation" followed by "Play/Pause." Vary the length of clips by clicking on the sides and dragging.

    Publishing the Presentation

    • 1). Navigate to the "File" menu and click "Publish Presentation." Choose a "Playback Site" --- either "My Computer," "My Network Places" or "Web Server" --- and click on "Next."

    • 2). Complete the information on the "Publishing Destination" page, depending on the location you chose to publish the presentation. Click "Next" on this page, on the "Presentation Information" page and on the "Publish Settings" page.

    • 3). Arrive at the "Publish Your Presentation" page and click "Next." Wait a few minutes for the files to be saved.

    • 4). Choose "Internet Explorer 5.0 or later for Windows." If you receive a warning message that the content was blocked, click on the information bar and select "Allow Blocked Content" followed by "Yes."

    • 5). Save the URL to share the presentation. Exit Internet Explorer and click "Finish" on the "Presentation Preview" page.
