How to Make a Shamrock From a Tangram
- 1). Arrange the medium-sized triangle so that the longest flat edge is at the top. This will be the center leaf of the shamrock.
- 2). Take the two largest triangles and arrange them on either side of the medium triangle so that the widest edge lays along the outside edge. The top point of the triangle will be even with the wide edge of the medium triangle. Be sure to leave space among the three triangles at the top.
- 3). Place the square in the space left between the three triangles. This is the center of the shamrock.
- 4). Make the stem of the shamrock using the two small triangles and the parallelogram. The parallelogram will be centered with the longest sides oriented up and down. Place one small triangle along each of the slanted sides of the parallelogram so that one side of the right angle matches up with the slanted edge of the parallelogram.
