    • 1). Scrub the stainless sink with a heavy-duty cleansing agent, using a coarse brush. Rinse the soap from the sink with wet rags and dry it with clean towels.

    • 2). Cover surfaces adjacent to the stainless sink with masking paper and professional painter's tape to protect them from primer and paint overspray. Cover the floor beneath the stainless sink with dropcloths.

    • 3). Apply a coat of metal etching primer. Maintain 8 inches between the stainless sink and the etching primer spray can nozzle as you apply. Wait four hours for the metal etching primer to cure.

    • 4). Apply a coat of appliance epoxy spray paint. Maintain 8 inches between the stainless sink and the epoxy spray can nozzle as you apply. Wait a minimum of six hours before using the finished sink.
