How to Remove Paint From Interior Concrete Walls
- 1). Cover the flooring directly beneath the interior concrete walls with heavy-duty fabric dropcloths.
- 2). Scrape as much paint from the interior concrete walls as possible, using a plastic putty knife.
- 3). Apply paint-stripping solvent to a 3-by-3-foot area of the concrete wall, using a paintbrush specifically intended for use with oil-based paints. Wait one minute for the stripping solvent to loosen the adhesives within the paint.
- 4). Scrape loose the remaining paint from the area, using the plastic putty knife. Continue until you have stripped the walls bare.
